Russell Johnson Architect has provided architectural design along the coast of Florida's Panhandle for more than 41 years. Russell's broad range of project experience includes public sector and institutional projects such as the Panama City Campus of the Florida State University and the Florida Lottery Building in Tallahassee and the design of numerous coastal condominiums, commercial projects, medical projects, private residences and public facilities. Russell has provided the design, construction documentation, and contract administration for all of his own projects. Recent endeavors also involve working with the INEE (Inter-Agency Network for Education in Emergencies) as a technical expert to help produce the book "Guidance Notes on Safer School Construction - Global Facility for Disaster Reduction and Recovery" which establishes guiding principles for the construction of more disaster resilient schools in areas of the world subject to natural disasters and architectural design for a proposed mixed-use community located on a 10 hectare island in the Arabian Gulf near the shoreline of Dubai - Marfa' Jumeirah Marina Village - Dubai, U.A.E.
